Terms of Service
About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("Parent," "you") and Luz & Grace LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us"). By subscribing to The Amy Grace Letters or using our website at luzandgrace.com, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any minor you enroll as a recipient.
If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not subscribe or use our service.
The Service
The Amy Grace Letters is a monthly subscription service. For $12 per month, your teenager (ages 13–18) receives two physical mailings delivered to the address you provide. Each mailing includes a personalized letter, a small creative activity, and a small encouragement item (such as a bookmark, sticker, or card).
Content is tailored to three age groups: 13–14 (early adolescence), 15–16 (middle adolescence), and 17–18 (late adolescence).
Important: This Is Not Therapy, Counseling, or Medical Advice
We care deeply about your teen. That's why we need to be completely clear about what this service is, and what it is not.
The Amy Grace Letters is a general wellness and encouragement service. It provides supportive correspondence meant to help teens feel seen and less alone. It is not:
- Mental health treatment, therapy, or counseling of any kind
- A diagnosis or assessment of any mental health condition
- Professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
- A substitute for care from a licensed mental health professional
- A crisis intervention or suicide prevention service
- A monitoring service that assesses or tracks your teen's mental health
No professional relationship is created by this service. Receipt of The Amy Grace Letters does not establish a therapist-patient, doctor-patient, counselor-client, or any other professional relationship between us and your teen or your family.
Our letters are not designed to treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, eating disorders, or post-traumatic stress. We make no representations or warranties that our content will improve any specific mental health outcome.
Who This Service Is For (and Who It Isn't)
The Amy Grace Letters is designed for teens ages 13–18 who may benefit from additional encouragement and connection in their daily lives.
This service is not appropriate for any teen who is:
- Currently experiencing a mental health crisis
- Having active thoughts of suicide or self-harm
- Undergoing treatment for a serious mental health condition that requires professional oversight
- Experiencing acute trauma, grief, or emotional distress that requires professional support
If any of these apply to your teen, we encourage you to seek professional mental health care. Our letters are not equipped to provide the level of support your teen needs and deserves in those circumstances.
Emergency & Crisis Resources
If your teen or anyone in your family is in immediate danger, experiencing a mental health emergency, or having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, do not rely on this service. Take immediate action:
Call 911 — for immediate emergencies
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — Call or text 988 (available 24/7, free, confidential)
Crisis Text Line — Text HOME to 741741
Go to your nearest emergency room
Every letter we send includes crisis resources presented in a warm, non-alarming way. However, our service does not monitor your teen's response to our letters and cannot detect or respond to a crisis.
Eligibility & Parental Acknowledgment
By subscribing, you represent and agree that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the teen(s) enrolled as recipients
- You have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the minor recipient
- You authorize us to mail content to the address you provide
- The information you provide (teen's first name, age group, mailing address) is accurate
- You understand this service provides general encouragement content, not professional mental health treatment
- You are and will remain responsible for your teen's mental health care, supervision, and wellbeing
- You will seek professional mental health support for your teen if they show signs of depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, or other serious mental health concerns
- You understand that our content may not prevent or address loneliness, sadness, depression, or any other emotional or mental health experience
- You understand that this service does not monitor or assess your teen's mental health in any way
Only parents or legal guardians may create subscriptions. Teens cannot sign themselves up.
How Our Content Is Created
We believe in transparency about how we make what we send your teen.
The letters and activity materials are created using artificial intelligence (AI) language models that have been developed with extensive knowledge of evidence-based adolescent psychology, therapeutic safety frameworks, and age-appropriate communication.
Every piece of content is safety-checked against clinical best practices in adolescent mental health before it is printed and mailed. This process is designed to help ensure that what reaches your teen is emotionally safe, age-appropriate, and grounded in research.
Our content is not created or reviewed by licensed therapists, psychologists, counselors, or other mental health professionals. We are transparent about this because your trust matters more than marketing language. While our AI tools draw on extensive psychological research, AI-generated content has inherent limitations and may not be appropriate for every teen in every circumstance.

- Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to this service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim
These limitations do not apply to claims arising from our gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or violation of applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
